About the employer
The border municipality of Storfjord is looking for you to become our new colleague in our small, big and unique municipality!
We are a small municipality in Nord-Troms with just over 1,800 residents. Our landscape stretches from Lyngenfjord, up through the valleys and across the open expanses to mountain peaks over 1,500 metres high.
We are proud of our unique history as a meeting place in the North Calotte and actively safeguard our Sami and Kven cultural heritage and history.
As a power municipality, we want to offer good services to our residents while also focusing on development. Our contrasting natural surroundings, good climate and exciting geographical location shape both community and business life.
Tromsø is just over an hour’s journey away, and as a border municipality we have Finnish and Swedish partners right nearby.
Private healthcare services, tourism, construction and civil engineering, and border-related activities such as customs, police, transport and freight forwarding are important areas of work here, alongside traditional industries and municipal services.
We would love to welcome more community builders to our team! Would you like to join us?
