Ukraine is to mobilize an additional 160,000 soldiers over the next three months to counter Russian advances on the battlefield.
"There are plans to call in over 160,000 people," says Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Secretary-General of Ukraine's Security Council, to the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday, reports news agency AFP.
A security source tells AFP that the recruitment will take place over a three-month period.
