The police have drawn up a list of 300 people classified as potential serial rapists, reports Swedish Radio Ekot.

Those on the list have either been convicted or suspected of rape on at least two occasions against at least two different people.

These lists have been distributed to the respective seven regions so that all those on these lists will be included in the records of the regions, says police officer Jale Poljarevius, head of Operation Beta, which works to prevent serious and deadly violence against women, to the radio.

The list can, among other things, be used for outreach purposes to talk and inform and to identify perpetrators.
