Over 20 Swedish companies are featured when the American magazine Time Magazine for the first time ranks the world's most sustainable companies. The magazine has, with the help of the analysis firm Statista, evaluated 5,000 of the world's largest and most influential companies.

This has resulted in a top 500 list where 21 Swedish companies qualify. Swedish Tele2 tops among the Swedish companies and is found at number 37. Other companies on the list are Castellum, Electrolux and Epiroc.

Companies operating in industries classified as non-sustainable, such as the oil industry, have been excluded from the work on the list. The other companies were assessed based on criteria including environmental commitments and transparency.
