Skandia is raising interest rates on mortgages with binding periods of 2-5 years by 0.10-0.15 percentage points, writes the pension company's bank.
The increases follow after competitors such as Danske Bank and SBAB also raised interest rates on mortgages with longer maturities recently.
Skandia's interest rates for mortgages with a one-year and three-month maturity remain unchanged.
Like the competitors who have already raised, Skandia refers to higher market interest rates.
"The increases are made due to the fact that market interest rates with longer maturities have increased, which in turn has led to higher borrowing costs," writes Skandia.
