According to the jury, Allbright is a strong voice in the equality debate, driving change in leading positions and workplaces with courage and sharpness.
"Through their examination of power structures, their advocacy work, and their tireless struggle for representation, they have since 2011 put pressure on the business community and shown that equality is not a trend but a necessity", the motivation reads.
In a time when we see a backlash against equality work, both internationally and in Sweden, it means even more to receive this award. It gives us even more energy to continue working for an inclusive labor market, says Amanda Lundeteg, CEO of Allbright.
The Selma of the Year is a feminist prize awarded by the publishing house Romanus & Selling. The prize goes to a person or organization that has made an impact in the equality debate and contributed to a change and improvement in society.
