The woman is sentenced, as in the district court, to one year and nine months in prison.

In the district court, the woman was convicted of gross breach of confidentiality, gross data intrusion, data intrusion of normal degree, and three cases of breach of confidentiality of normal degree.

However, the Court of Appeal acquits the woman of the charge of gross breach of confidentiality.

The Svea Court of Appeal writes in a press release that it has made the same assessments as the district court, except for one charge of gross breach of confidentiality that the Court of Appeal does not consider proven. The court administrator is therefore acquitted in that part.

According to the press release, Court of Appeal Judge Carina Sjögren says that the convicted woman has exploited her position as a court administrator and abused the trust that the employment has entailed.

"Her actions have also had serious consequences for the work of the law enforcement agencies. The trust of these agencies and the general public in the court has also been at risk of being damaged, which is naturally serious", says Carina Sjögren.
