North Korea has sent more trash-filled balloons towards South Korea, according to the South Korean military. Earlier in the week, a similar incident occurred, which North Korea describes as a response to activists sending leaflets criticizing Pyongyang across the border.
The number of balloons is still unclear. The South Korean military is urging people to be aware of falling objects and not to touch any objects from North Korea, but instead inform the police or military about them.
Earlier in the week, balloons filled with trash, toilet paper, and suspected animal waste appeared in the South Korean sky. Seoul accused its northern neighbor of a low blow, and North Korea confirmed that the country was behind the incident.
On Thursday, North Korea also launched around 10 ballistic missiles on test launches over the Japanese Sea, according to South Korea's military.
