Slalom specialist Kristoffer Jakobsen could not follow up the success from Austrian Gurgl, where he became second three weeks ago after a superior second run.
In Sunday's slalom in French Val d'Isère, it ended for the Swede already in the first run. Jakobsen was over a second from the lead at the third intermediate time and then skied out by straddling a gate.
Home skier Steven Amiez led after the first run, but skied out in the second. Instead, it became a Norwegian double victory, with Henrik Kristoffersen winning ahead of Atle Lie McGrath.
Kristoffersen also took over the lead in the slalom cup from Clément Noël. The Frenchman won the season's two initial slalom competitions but crashed during Saturday's giant slalom and did not start on Sunday.
