Better pace in Danish economy

Denmark's economy performed stronger during the second quarter than earlier this year. The Gross National Product (GNP) increased by 0.6 percent compared to the first quarter, according to new official statistics.

During the first quarter, the GNP fell by 1.0 percent compared to the previous quarter, according to revised figures.

On an annual basis, the growth rate during the second quarter was 2.5 percent.
