Krah was AFD's top candidate ahead of the EU election but was excluded after making controversial comments about Nazi Germany.
The party was kicked out of the far-right group ID in the EU Parliament after Krah's comments, and after that, he was excluded.
In last weekend's German election, AFD received more than 20 percent of the votes. After a meeting on Tuesday, it is clear that Krah will take one of the new seats in the German Bundestag.
He has previously also faced criticism from his own party and was involved in several scandals during the EU election campaign.
Krah said that he refuses to call "all who wore SS uniforms automatically criminals", and one of his assistants was formally accused by German authorities of being a spy for China's intelligence service.
