Astra Zeneca's China chief has been arrested by the police. This is confirmed by the pharmaceutical giant's press department to AFP.
"If requested, we will fully cooperate with the Chinese authorities", the press department writes in an email to the news agency.
It is known since before that the local authorities in China are investigating whether Astra Zeneca, among other things, illegally collected data and engaged in unauthorized drug imports.
