Nvidia and AMD Agree to Revenue Share with US for China Export Licenses

IT giants Nvidia and AMD will pay 15 percent of their revenue in China to the US state.

The exceptional agreement with the Trump administration is a way for the two companies to get export licenses to China for their semiconductors, reports Financial Times, which refers to sources with insight into the agreement.

According to expertise in the field, the agreement is unique: never before have American companies agreed to pay a certain part of their turnover to be granted export licenses.
