The Hallwyl Collection takes visitors through a palace in central Stockholm and the history of the von Hallwyl family. The rooms include a dining room, drawing room, smoking room, billiard room and armory. An audio guide is available in Swedish and English, and the museum has a shop.
“Mirrors Through Time,” an exhibition of contemporary crafts in dialogue with the museum’s collections, is on through Sunday, 1 November 2026, its final listed day. “The Corset War” looks at corsetry and the debate about it in Sweden at the end of the 19th century. It runs through 10 January 2027. Visitors can see it on their own, with the exhibition included in admission, or join a guided tour.
The autumn holiday program also ends today. It includes “Hallwyleen,” a spooky discovery trail through the house. The museum offers tours, audio guides and holiday programs for families.
