Tessinparken is near Gärdet metro station in Stockholm. Its newly renovated playground has the theme “The Little City”, selected through public dialogue. The design is inspired by the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition, functionalism and the buildings around Tessinparken.

The playground has playhouses in functionalist style, a construction crane, a tram, a slide, a sand play area and climbing equipment. Close to the park activity building, a large area has many new swings. The playhouses and tram give the playground its small-city theme, while the slide, sand area and climbing equipment provide other kinds of play.

There are activities beyond the playground, too. Tessinparken has a mini-golf course and a court for basketball and bandy. In winter, the court is iced over. Visitors can plan a stop around the playground, swings or sports facilities, or combine them during one visit. Gärdet metro station is the listed nearby transit point for getting to the park.
