Djurgårdslinjen runs heritage trams between Norrmalmstorg and Waldemarsudde, a 3,200-metre route that opened in 1991. The trams leave Norrmalmstorg, pass Nybroplan and Strandvägen, continue onto Djurgården and turn back. The line’s website says service runs every Saturday and Sunday from 17 August to 20 December. It says summer service also runs on weekdays, but gives no dates for that period in the information available here.
The museum cars come from several periods in Stockholm’s tram history. On board, you can travel the route and pass museums and other visitor attractions on Djurgården. The line is run by volunteers from the Stockholm branch of the Swedish Tramway Society, a non-profit association. Its website says the café tram is out of service for now because of a lack of space in the tram depot.
The tram service is operating this weekend, Sunday 1 November, according to the listed Saturday-and-Sunday schedule. Check the line’s timetable for departure details before travelling. The route starts at Norrmalmstorg and returns from Djurgården; the published information does not give a journey time or fare.
