Norr Mälarstrand-Kajbad is a small bathing pier beside the Norr Mälarstrand waterfront promenade on Kungsholmen. The city says it has a swimming ladder and a lifebuoy; Visit Stockholm says an existing sun deck was equipped with a ladder and lifesaving equipment to enable swimming. Visitors can use the ladder to enter the water. The city prohibits diving from the pier because objects in the water may be hard to see from the surface.
For this week, 2 November, the city’s listing gives no seasonal schedule or opening hours, so it does not establish whether swimming is available now. It also gives no admission price. The pier is at Norr Mälarstrand 55. Rådhuset metro station is 500 metres away, and paid parking is available nearby.
Dogs are prohibited on the pier from 1 June through 31 August, except guide and assistance dogs. The city says accessibility information is unavailable. It does not state how long a visit takes. Plan around the ladder and the no-diving rule; the information describes a place for swimming.
