Liebling is a German bistro at Timmermansgatan 24 on Södermalm. The restaurant has two dining rooms, including a smaller one downstairs. Liebling Bar is next door, with cocktails, snacks and smaller dishes.
The menu includes schnitzel, sausages, snacks and desserts. Each schnitzel comes with two sides of your choice; the options include potato salad, fries and fried potatoes. A veal schnitzel is 375 SEK (about $37.5, £29.3), while the celery-root schnitzel is 305 SEK (about $30.5, £23.8). Sausage dishes start at 250 SEK (about $25.0, £19.5). Kaiserschmarrn, described on the menu as an emperor’s pancake, costs 155 SEK (about $15.5, £12.1).
The restaurant opens at 17:00 every day. It closes at 22:00 Sunday to Tuesday, 23:00 Wednesday and Thursday, and midnight Friday and Saturday. The bar next door is open daily from 17:00 to 01:00.
