Bierhaus

Bierhaus is listed at Tegnérgatan 4 in Stockholm. Inside, wooden panels, brick walls and communal tables give it the layout of a German beer hall. Visit Stockholm says 18 German beers are on tap; the bar’s website names several, including Berliner Kindl, Bitburger, Jever and Kölsch. It also says the selection includes guest taps and Swedish craft beer, as well as wine, schnapps and liqueurs.

The kitchen serves German regional dishes, including schnitzel, homemade sausages and sauerkraut. The website says vegetarian options are available. Visit Stockholm describes the food as very affordable, but gives no prices. The bar’s website calls it Sweden’s oldest bierhaus and says it has roots on Tegnérgatan dating to the 1940s.

The website presents Bierhaus as a place for Oktoberfest, but gives no event dates or opening hours. It also says groups can book a large table with a food-and-drink package for a birthday or stag party.
