Långholmens Wärdshus is in Alstavik’s manor house, which the restaurant says dates from the 1670s. The restaurant serves Swedish food made with local ingredients, with a lunch of the day and an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Visit Stockholm also lists weekend brunch and drinks at the bar Finkan. The restaurant’s website gives no menu prices.
The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 23:00, Saturday from 12:00 to 23:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00. Weekend brunch is mentioned, but no serving hours are given for it. The restaurant’s outdoor dining area, called the restaurant park, has seating under an apple tree and lounge furniture; Visit Stockholm says the park opens in summer.
For larger groups, the venue recommends its banqueting rooms for weddings and company events. The wider site also has a hotel, conference facilities and a museum, but the restaurant is at Alstaviksvägen 17. The website does not say how long a meal or visit takes. Check the restaurant’s hours before going, especially if you plan to visit on Sunday, when it closes at 17:00.
