Kulturkvarter Snösätra is an open-air street-art exhibition in Rågsved, a Stockholm suburb, and Visit Stockholm says it is open all year round. Swedish and international artists bring work to the area each year, creating a display of murals. Visitors can view the murals and, if they follow the rules, use an open wall to show their own art.
The annual festival is held each spring. It brings music, DJs and live painting, and new murals are unveiled during the event. Official vernissages and parties take place through the summer. The next annual festival is due in spring; the outdoor exhibition itself remains open through the year, including November.
A visit centers on the street art: see work by Swedish and international artists, then look at the open wall, where anyone who respects the rules is welcome to showcase their artistry. Snösätra is outside the usual visitor route, according to Visit Stockholm. The murals and the opportunity to see an outdoor exhibition are the focus of a visit.
