Millesgården brings together a sculpture park, the former home and studios of artists Carl and Olga Milles, and an art gallery. Visitors can walk among Carl Milles’s sculptures and fountains on terraced gardens, with views over the Stockholm inlet, and visit Annes Hus, furnished by Estrid Ericson and Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. The gallery has temporary exhibitions.

The current exhibition, “Life in Colour and Form,” presents work by sculptor Robert Nilsson and textile artist Barbro Nilsson. It runs until 29 March 2027. The site also has a museum shop and Millesgården Lanthandel, where visitors can have lunch or coffee; Visit Sweden says the café uses locally produced ingredients.

Admission costs 170 SEK (about US$17, £13.1) for adults, 140 SEK (about US$14, £10.8) for students, and nothing for children aged 0–18. Senior Friday admission is 85 SEK (about US$8.50, £6.54). Groups of at least 10 pay 150 SEK (about US$15, £11.5) per person. Annual passes cost 320 SEK (about US$32, £24.6), or 200 SEK (about US$20, £15.4) for students. The museum is cashless: tickets can be bought online or paid for on site by debit or credit card, or Swish.

Millesgården says it welcomes visitors year-round. Check its calendar for guided tours, short introductions and other activities. In winter, remove shoe grips in the gallery and artists’ home, or change into the slippers provided, to protect the floors.
