Children and their grown-ups can listen to stories from around the world at A World of Tales, an exhibition at Stockholm’s Museum of Ethnography. The stories include myths, legends, creation tales and fairy tales. Environments inspired by the stories and their characters come to life through projections, interactive stations and objects from the museum’s collections, giving families ways to explore and experience them.
The exhibition is on view now. The museum says stories help people remember what has been, imagine what is yet to come and learn about themselves and the world. They can make people laugh and marvel, think and feel, dance and sing. Admission is free for everyone under 19.
