Anders Karlsson, a driver on Norrtälje’s library bus, presents a slideshow about Norrtälje’s past and present, using photographer Curt Lundblad’s comments on houses, streets and people. Lundblad began a project in the early 2000s to document how Norrtälje changed over time. Working from old photographs, he found the places shown and made new photographs there.
Karlsson collects stories and images about everyday life and accounts of places around Roslagen. The screening takes place aboard the library bus at Edebo Hammarby, listed under Hallstavik. It is aimed at visitors interested in local history and how ordinary residents lived. The presentation lasts about 30 minutes, and places are limited, so advance booking is required.
