Stand-up comedian Felicia Tomala takes the audience into a crime-fiction world built from a finished draft she found among her late grandfather’s papers. He wrote himself into the story as an irresistible hero. Its cast includes Slick Murphy and Lola, the widow of Colonel Foster, while the plot turns on an unexpected number of prime numbers and dramatic twists that often lack drama.

Tomala reads from the novel and draws on her grandfather’s research to examine crime-fiction clichés, his generous view of himself and a fantasy held back only by its need to explain every detail. The show is a playful mix of murder mysteries, stand-up and a new kind of family history. It takes place at Kapellet in Norrtälje. Tomala has worked professionally as a comedian for five years and draws on personal subjects including life and anxiety.
