Gimo Big Band brings its tribute to Frank Sinatra to Kapellet in Norrtälje. The band has played together since 1971, with a repertoire that ranges from classic big-band jazz to blues, pop and songs. For this performance, it is joined by vocalist Sussi Järhult and singer and actor Nicke Wagemyr. They perform some of Sinatra’s best-loved songs in their original arrangements, between stories and spoken introductions about his life and career. Trombonist Lelle Lind leads the band.

The show has previously played to full houses in Norrtälje, Östhammar, Sandviken and Uppsala, as well as at Nalen in Stockholm. Its mix of big-band standards and Sinatra’s catalogue gives listeners a live performance built around the songs and the stories behind them.
