Kronborg is a castle in Helsingør, described by its website as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The venue presents the castle’s history through its halls, exhibitions and underground casemates. Visitors can look for Holger Danske in the casemates and climb to the top of the cannon tower for views over Øresund.

The venue offers an English-language guided tour, “In Hamlet’s Footsteps,” about the castle in Shakespeare’s time. Shakespeare probably never visited Kronborg, but the venue says he made it famous as Elsinore in Hamlet. A separate introduction called “Kronborg in a Quarter” lasts 15 minutes and covers the castle’s stories, exhibitions and kings.

The website lists Tuesday 3 November hours as 10:00–16:00. An adult day ticket costs 150 kr (about US$14.4, or £11.3), or 135 kr (about US$13.0, or £10.2) when bought online, a 10% saving. Children enter free, but a free child ticket must be added when booking. Tickets are valid for one year from the purchase date.

For families, the castle has activity stations and a creative workshop. The website also lists Christmas events, including a concert, but gives no year for them. It does not state how long a full visit takes.
