Smålandet Markaryds Älgsafari is a moose park where the animals roam freely across a large area. Visitors can drive their own car along a 3 km trail, which the Visit Sweden listing compares with an authentic moose hunt. Younger children can instead ride a small train through the park, hear a guide and feed the moose. The listing says the train option offers a guaranteed encounter.

The safari is open year-round. The car route is three kilometres, and the train is an alternative for younger children. Visitors can choose between following the trail in their own vehicle or taking the guided train, where feeding the moose is part of the experience.

There is also a restaurant built like a giant moose tower. It serves traditional dishes with plenty of game, and its rooftop terrace overlooks the park. A waffle café is available for coffee and waffles.
