Grönåsen’s listed 2026 opening dates ended on 31 October, so the park is outside its published opening schedule this week. The schedule covered 1–23 August from 10:00 to 17:00, 24–31 August from 10:00 to 16:00, and 1 September–31 October from 11:00 to 15:00, Tuesday to Sunday.

Visitors can see moose, pigs, goats and chickens. The park says it guarantees visitors will see moose, some close up and others from a distance, and advises taking time to see more. Its museum has an exhibition about the moose’s three enemies: the bear, the wolf and the hunter.

The shop sells moose burgers and moose sausages to grill at the park’s grill area. It also sells ice cream and hot and cold drinks, with fika available during the high season. The grill is for food bought at the park. Admission in 2026 was 170 SEK (about $18.80 / £14.90) for adults, 120 SEK (about $13.30 / £10.50) for ages 4–12, and free for children aged 0–3. Cards and cash in Swedish kronor or euros are accepted. Dogs are not allowed. Groups can book by email or phone.
