An announced concept for Götaberg Kök & Bar put the restaurant in Vasastan, in central Gothenburg, and linked it to the restaurateurs behind Lorensbergs Fisk & Bar on Berzeliigatan. They planned fried and pan-fried dishes with a touch of stronger flavours. Art was also part of the intended offer: every work hanging on the walls was to be available to buy.

The team had begun looking for artists to exhibit, including both well-known and lesser-known artists. The idea was to bring food and art together, with works on the walls for visitors to see and buy. The first service and an art opening were hoped for in summer 2025. That target is now past; the announced date describes the original plan, not a current opening schedule. The concept gives a visitor a reason to go for the combination of fried or pan-fried food and art for sale. The announcement does not establish what is being served or shown now.
