Forum Göteborg is a department store in Gothenburg focused on vintage, design, art and fashion, according to Visit Sweden. Its Forum 2.0 expansion brought the store to about 2,000 square metres, with displays of selected items from Sweden and abroad. Established retailers share the space with new creators.

Visitors can browse the displays, and the store also has an upholstery workshop and a tailoring shop. Visit Sweden says the upholstery workshop gives older furniture new life, while the tailoring shop repairs, adjusts and tailors garments on site. The department store is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00.

The department store also contains Forum Mat & Dryck, a bistro. It serves smørrebrød on freshly baked bread with local ingredients, along with Gothenburg folköl, local coffee and freshly baked buns. Visit Sweden says kitchen responsibility is led by Marcus Wastensson, formerly restaurant manager at Michelin restaurant 28+. A visit can combine browsing with food or coffee, and the store’s workshops handle furniture and clothing work on site.
