SMHI warns – snow during morning rush

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) warns of snowfall of up to five centimeters in the Stockholm region and Uppsala during rush hour traffic. It is expected to be a fairly abundant snowfall, says Mattias Lind, meteorologist at SMHI.

Strong wind in the mountains – yellow warning issued

It can become very strong winds in the Norr- and Västerbotten mountains during the night towards Tuesday and inexperienced people are advised not to hike. If it's that windy, one should not be on the mountain, says mountain rescuer Hielke Chaudron.

It's blowing hard along the west coast and several yellow warnings have been issued at sea. There are also warnings of high water levels from Strömstad down to Gothenburg.
