"Genius" Tejle – This Year's O'Neill Scholar

Lotta Tejle receives Dramaten's O'Neill scholarship for an acting art that is described as "touching, brave, plastic, brilliant, pedagogical, factual, and enchanting. Yes, simply genius!" Just before his death in 1953, the American playwright Eugene O'Neill bequeathed his then unperformed play "Long Day's Journey into Night" to Dramaten, resulting in a memorial fund and an annual scholarship of 45,000 kronor to the theater's employees.
