The Stock Exchange will rise again – the first stone laid

On Thursday, a 400th anniversary is being celebrated in one of Copenhagen's most iconic buildings, Børsen, which was severely damaged by fire in April. Denmark's King Frederik has been given the honorary task of laying a symbolic first cornerstone in place ahead of the reconstruction work that is now taking off.

Soon, the work of rebuilding the fire-ravaged historic building Børsen in Copenhagen will begin. Half of the building is destroyed, but as much material as possible will be reused.
