Government advances Norra Kärr mine plan with conditions to protect Vättern drinking water
The government has taken a new step toward mineral extraction at the Norra Kärr mine near Lake Vättern. The deposit is considered to be of such great national interest that a processing concession should be granted, according to the county administrative board, on condition that the company shows how drinking water will be protected.
