Volvo's Rechargeable Car Sales Decline Despite Overall Growth

Volvo Cars sold slightly more cars in September this year than the same month last year. A total of 63,212 cars were sold globally in September, which is 1 percent more than the corresponding month last year.

But the total sales during the first nine months of the year amounted to 514,294 cars, which is a decrease of 8 percent compared to the same period in 2024, writes Volvo Cars in a press release.

In Europe, the sales of Volvo's rechargeable models decreased by 6 percent compared to September last year.

In the USA, sales increased by 3 percent in September to a total of 8,758 cars. The sales of rechargeable decreased by 21 percent compared to the corresponding month last year.
