It is the companies Züblin and Veidekke that have taken over the parts of the work that are considered critical in the stage.
The contracts are for approximately 400–500 million kronor, each, says project manager Bo Larsson to GP.
In addition to this, the Swedish Transport Administration has written 37 contracts with subcontractors, and a further 19 are underway. This autumn, the authority is also expected to present a further three contractors who will be responsible for the parts of the construction that are not considered critical.
On September 18, the Swedish Transport Administration cancelled the contract with the consortium WLC, which includes, among other things, NCC, which previously had responsibility for the Korsvägen stage. This was after the work was delayed and, according to the Swedish Transport Administration, became much more expensive than expected.
