The state's payments resulted in a surplus of 74 billion kronor in February, writes the National Debt Office in a press release.

The National Debt Office's prognosis was a surplus of 60.9 billion kronor. The difference from the prognosis is mainly due to higher tax revenues than expected.

For the 12-month period up to and including February 2025, the state's payments showed a deficit of 93 billion kronor.

The national debt amounted to 1,110 billion kronor at the end of February.
