Apart from the sprayed threat, a pane was smashed on the entrance door to the office. The incident has been reported to the police.
Axel Josefson, who was the chairman of the municipal board between 2019 and 2022, is now the leader of the opposition in the municipal council. He says that what has happened is unacceptable.
It is unfortunately a small sign of a harder and tougher political climate. It is very unfortunate that we are heading in that direction. I hope that we can have a sensible political debate, where you can have different opinions, he says to the newspaper.
