Thousands of people have once again taken to the streets across Venezuela in protest against the country's president Nicolás Maduro clinging to power after the election on July 28.
Maduro has simultaneously called on his supporters to take part in counter-demonstrations.
Opposition leader Maria Machado made a surprise appearance in the capital Caracas, carrying a banner with the text "Venezuela has won". Machado is backing González Urrutia, who is seen as the real winner of the election after being denied participation.
According to the opposition, protocols collected directly from over 80 percent of the polling stations show that Urrutia won the election with a significant majority.
Eleven civilians are reported to have died and over 1,000 have been arrested during protests since the regime-loyal electoral authority ratified Nicolás Maduro as the winner.
