Skandia lowers the interest rate on mortgages for all terms, including the three-month rate. The interest rates are lowered by 0.25 percentage points and the interest rate for loans with a one-year binding period is now 4.61 percent, the company writes in a press release.
For a two-year binding period, the reduction means an interest rate of 4.30 percent and for five years an interest rate of 4.10 percent. The changes take effect on Friday.
In recent days, several banks have lowered their mortgage interest rates, including Swedbank and Handelsbanken.
