"This frivolous attitude towards the duty to put Sweden's best interests first is frivolous and sad. All that remains is an ambition for power, with her demanding from others what she is not prepared to contribute herself," writes Financial Markets Minister Niklas Wykman (M) on Facebook.
He - and several other senior Moderates - are now lashing out at the S leader, who spoke after the election of "seeking a new spirit of cooperation in Swedish politics".
Andersson wrote earlier on Sunday that the S would go into "full opposition" to an M, KD, L and C government governing with the support of the Sweden Democrats - "Tidö 2", in Andersson's words - and would "not participate in any negotiations with such a government constellation".
Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer (M) writes on Facebook:
"This can only be understood as meaning that the new spirit of cooperation is conditional on Magdalena Andersson herself being prime minister. That does not seem particularly beneficial to the public. The focus does not appear to be on what is in the best interests of Sweden and our entire society, but rather on the party's own interests."
