After a quarter of trading, Polestar had lost more than 20 percent. The quarterly report, released on Thursday, showed, among other things, a second-quarter loss of the equivalent of 4.4 billion kronor.
The New York Stock Exchange, however, is generally heading in the opposite direction. Just before 4 p.m., the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.8 percent, the broad S&P 500 was up 0.6 percent, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq was up 0.9 percent.
