The figure emerges in the situation picture that the Tax Authority will produce annually from 2024 on behalf of the government.

The report shows at the same time that around 116,000 people within Sweden have stated incorrect population registration information.
Then it can be about that you for example are registered at the wrong address to get your children into another school and similar things. Even in Sweden, it is important to be correctly registered, says Katrin Westling Palm.
The situation picture also shows that between 110,000 and 185,000 people live in Sweden without a personal or coordination number.
In total, 10,587,700 people are registered in the population register in Sweden.
