When the count is complete, the Social Democrats now receive 28.0 percent of the votes (99 seats), the Moderates 19.8 percent (70), the Sweden Democrats 17.5 (62), the Left Party 8.4 (30), the Center Party 7.0 (25), the Christian Democrats 6.2 (22), the Green Party 6.1 (22) and the Liberals 5.3 (19).
According to the Election Authority, voter turnout is preliminary at 84.8 percent, which is slightly higher than in 2022, up 0.6 percentage points.
When it comes to seats in the Riksdag, one has shifted from the Social Democrats to the Left Party as Wednesday's votes have been counted.
The Social Democrats and the Sweden Democrats are the two parties that are losing seats compared with the 2022 election, eight and eleven respectively.
