The first SVT/Verian poll since the election shows a statistically significant increase for the Moderates, from 19.9 to 22.3 percent, SVT Nyheter reports.
The upturn probably consists mainly of returning Moderate voters who voted for the Liberals in the election, Per Söderpalm, opinion manager at Verian, told the broadcaster.
According to the survey, the Liberals have fallen to 3.7 percent, below the parliamentary threshold.
In TV4/Novus’ latest opinion poll, the Tidö parties have an advantage over the red-green parties, and the Moderates are up four percentage points, TV4 Nyheterna reports.
The survey also shows that the Social Democrats and the Left Party have fallen since the previous poll, by 2.1 and 1.2 percentage points to 25.9 and 7.2 percent, respectively. The Liberals are down 1.4 percentage points to 3.9 percent, according to the survey.
Around 3,000 people aged 18 to 84, from a panel recruited via random, nationally representative samples, responded to the SVT/Verian survey, conducted between September 28 and October 11.
The results for the Social Democrats, Moderates, Liberals and Left Party in the TV4/Novus survey are statistically significant. The survey was based on 2,512 interviews and conducted between October 5 and 11.
