According to M, the proposal would cost SEK 3.5 billion per year. The financing is expected to come from reduced tax losses on endowment insurance as well as efficiency improvements and savings.
"Those who do the right thing, work hard and put aside a little each month should be able to keep more of their savings. It's fair," says party leader and Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in a press release.
The Liberals proposed the same level increase in May.
