It is clear that in acute situations, if a situation arises where one is not jointly trained or has a uniform order on who should take command, for example, and decide what should happen or what action is needed, then the patient can be negatively affected, says Peter Carlsson, department head at Ivo, to Ekot.
The deficiencies that have been identified include, for example, how to handle acute situations, but also documentation and quality work are pointed out.
In 27 of the departments, they do not meet the legal requirements for good care, while eleven departments cannot guarantee good care in acute situations, according to Ivo.
At the latest by Friday, Ivo demands answers from the departments on how they have addressed or plan to address the problems.
