The telecom operator Telia, with the Swedish state as its largest owner, made an operating profit of 2.9 billion kronor for the first quarter. This can be compared to the profit of nearly 2.1 billion during the same period last year.
Revenues increased by 2.3 percent to nearly 22.4 billion kronor. The company writes in the report that "mobile revenues continue to be stable" while advertising revenues have grown within TV and other media on both the Swedish and Finnish markets.
"Our financial outlook for the full year remains unchanged after a first half that has developed largely in line with our expectations", the company writes in the interim report.
