Greek motorists to get bigger diesel subsidy as inflation bites

The Greek government has decided to increase the current diesel subsidy from 10 cents to 15 cents.

The measure will run until October 15 and will then be reviewed every two weeks.

Greece, like many other European countries, has been hit by a sharp rise in inflation. In August, inflation was 3.7 percent, compared with an EU average of 3.3 percent.
